My contract work has died down and I am happy to say I have much more free time! If you would like to fill up some of that time with more work feel free to reach out at jobs@braedonwatkins.dev

With my free time I am trying to live life a bit more slowly. I have spent the better part of the last ~10 years trying to grind in my free time working on projects.
But I've never just taken time to live life!
With that in mind, I'm running a minecraft server on an RPi5 for my partner, my little brother, and myself. I've been having a great time doing computer logic with redstone :)
I also have had the joy of introducing my partner to Pokemon Emerald and we're at the Elite Four! Wish us luck!

Regardless, I can't help myself from trying to learn new things. I have been reviewing some of my calculus and physics fundamentals after noticing I was getting rusty. To this end, I am reading Stewart's Calculus as well as Serway and Jewett's Physics textbooks.

I've also enjoyed reading Newman's Computational Physics! Although the python is fairly introductory the physics problems are *very* appealing to me!

It is my hope that I will be able to take the physics GRE in the near future and pass with a high score.
